Organizations and Businesses that Signed SB790 Letter

SB790 is the bill passed by the PA Senate that would allow conventional drillers to spread their toxic wastewater on unpaved roads, a practice that the DEP halted last year. It also provides other benefits to conventional drillers, including the loosening of reporting requirements for spills.

Berks Gas Truth collected more than 1000 individual and 100 organizational/business signatures on a letter it submitted to legislators and Governor Wolf after the Senate rushed the bill from the Appropriations Committee to a floor vote with no debate.

We have received hundreds of additional individual and organizatonal/business signers since we submitted the letter on 10/29, so we are submitting an updated copy to members of the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee before they consider the bill on January 13. View the full letter with all signers here.
