Sandra Steingraber is well-known in the anti-fracking movement for her work to ban fracking in New York State and, soon after, stop a natural gas storage facility planned to sit beneath Seneca Lake. She is a biologist, author, poet, and mother who has been an outspoken advocate for communities fighting for clean water, clean air, and a healthy environment.

Lehigh Valley Screening of UNFRACTURED, the film that chronicles biologist and mother Sandra Steingraber’s journey into activism. Filmmaker Chanda Chevannes will introduce the film and she and Sandra will take your questions following the film.

The Pennsylvania Tour of UNFRACTURED is being organized by the Better Path Coalition. The Lehigh Valley screening is co-hosted by Berks Gas Truth and our local partners, The Climate Reality Project: Lehigh Valley Chapter and Northampton Community College Climate Action Network.

The tour is being supported by the Ontario Arts Council and the Direct Support Fund.
