FERC has opened a new docket on proposed rerouting in a few locations.\nPA DEP is accepting comments on water quality permits for the pipeline. It is\nworth commenting that you\u2019re not sure what you\u2019re supposed to be commenting on \u2013\nthe approved route or the one that is currently being proposed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PennEast \u2013 FERC<\/strong> \u2013 Deadline to intervene and comment \u2013 March 8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To make things easier on\nPennEast and harder on you, FERC has assigned a new docket number for this\nproject. If you&#8217;d already submitted a motion to intervene in the past, you\nreally need to submit a new motion on this docket number &#8212; <strong>CP19-78<\/strong>. The project consists of four Water Obstruction and Encroachment\nPermits and one Chapter 102 Erosion and Sediment Control Permit. The&nbsp;<strong>Luzerne\nCounty<\/strong>&nbsp;portion of the project is located in Bear Creek Township,\nDallas Township, Jenkins Township, Kingston Township, Laflin Township, Plains\nTownship, West Wyoming Borough and Wyoming Borough, U.S. Army Corps of\nEngineers, Philadelphia and Baltimore District. The&nbsp;<strong>Northampton\nCounty<\/strong>&nbsp;portion of the project is located in Bethlehem Township, East\nAllen Township, City of Easton, Lower Nazareth Township, Lower Saucon Township,\nMoore Township, Upper Nazareth Township and Williams Township, U.S. Army Corps\nof Engineers, Philadelphia District. To\ncompensate for the proposed permanent project impacts in Northampton County,\nthe applicant is proposing 2.8 acres of wetland mitigation through wetland\nenhancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2003<strong>E09-998<\/strong>. The&nbsp;<strong>Bucks\nCounty&nbsp;<\/strong>portion of the project is located in Durham Township and\nRiegelsville Borough, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District.
