Following the press conference, they delivered copies of the studies referenced in the latest edition, along with a copy of the <em>Compendium<\/em>, to Governor Wolf&#8217;s office.<\/p>\n<p>This third update of the <em>Compendium<\/em> originally\u00a0published in 2014 includes the more than 200 peer-reviewed research papers published in 2016 alone.<\/p>\n<p>From the Concerned Health Professionals of NY website, &#8220;In our review of the data, seventeen compelling themes emerged; these serve as the organizational structure of the <em>Compendium<\/em>. The document opens with sections on two of the most acute threats\u2014air pollution and water contamination\u2014and ends with medical and scientific calls for more study and transparency. Readers will notice the ongoing upsurge in reported problems and health impacts, making each section top-heavy with recent data.
