The first Frackapalooza was held in October 2012, just weeks before the release of 61 tons of Volatile Organic Compounds and 174 million cubic feet of natural gas during what has been called an operator error at the Bernville compressor station. Since then, Berks County has found itself in the path of the industry\u2019s infrastructure build-out in the form of two proposed natural gas pipelines and the proposed Berks Hollow natural gas power plant. If Frackapalooza Two was a film sequel, the tagline would be, \u201cThis time it\u2019s personal.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Among th<\/b><b>e musicians featured is Berks County native Richard Feridun who is now a NYC-based guitarist. He\u2019ll accompany Nashville singer-songwriter <\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/ameliawhite.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Amelia White<\/b><\/a><b> and NYC-based bass player Matt Lindsay. Local favorites <\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/jackmurray.net\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Jack Murray<\/b><\/a><b> and Alan Landes will round out the entertainment portion of the program. <\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.walterbrasch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Walter Brasch<\/b><\/a><b>, author of the book <i>Fracking Pennsylvania: Flirting with Disaster<\/i>, will be one of the featured speakers. Karen Feridun, founder of Berks Gas Truth, will discuss the local issues mentioned above and will kick-off a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gastruth.org\/?p=1546\" target=\"_blank\">statewide campaign<\/a> to purchase deliveries of replacement water for Pennsylvania families whose wells have been contaminated by fracking.
