Victory!! Army Corps Denies Easement for Dakota Access Pipeline!!<\/h1>\n
Today, the Army Corps of Engineers announced that it would not grant the easement required for construction of the Dakota Access pipeline, effectively halting the project. The announcement comes a little more than a day before the Army Corps planned to evict the protectors.<\/div>\n

This is a tremendous victory for the Standing Rock Sioux and all who have stood with them!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The fight is far from over, however. The Army Corps plans to do a full environmental review and look at alternative routes for the pipeline. Alternative routes just move the problem to someone else’s back yard. The only acceptable solution is to stop the pipeline altogether.<\/div>\n
