I know the page title sounds a little confusing, but it’s a great campaign we’ve got underway and we think you’ll like it when you hear the plan.
Our PA legislators voted for a budget that contained a demand for $20 million more in revenue than even Corbett proposed when he lifted the moratorium on state forest leasing and tossed in, for the first time, state park leasing.
But first, we want to go after the Republicans who voted to sacrifice our state lands. We’re creating Wanted Posters of the legislators who voted for the budget and we’re asking you to print one, take it with you when you visit your favorite state forest or park, and take a selfie either holding or posting it there!
If you agree to let us share your photos on social media, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll spread them all over Facebook and Twitter (and, of course, tweet them at your legislators).
We debuted the posters at the accountability events we held on 8/5 at Senator Rafferty’s and Senator Tomlinson’s district offices. A couple of our rally attendees headed to French Creek State Park right after the rally at Rafferty’s office. Check out their photos!
We’re currently planning more actions to go after legislators for either their votes or their silence. Stay tuned!
In the meantime, send us those selfies! We’ll be adding more legislators’ wanted posters to this page as we get them, so check back often.
These posters are formatted for 8.5″ x 11″ printer paper.
